Refund Policy

1. Digital Services — No Refunds on Consumed Tokens

AI Nexus provides API access to third-party AI models on a pay-as-you-go basis. Once tokens have been consumed by an API call, the corresponding credit deduction is final and non-refundable. This is because the underlying model providers (DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud, Zhipu AI, etc.) charge us for each inference, and that cost is incurred at the moment of the API call.

2. Unused Balance Refunds

Unused prepaid credit balance may be refunded under the following conditions:

• The refund request is submitted within 14 days of the top-up date
• The account has no fraudulent or abusive activity on record
• The refund amount does not exceed the original top-up amount
• A processing fee of 5% of the refunded amount or $5 (whichever is higher) may be deducted to cover payment processing costs

3. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you were charged incorrectly or a duplicate payment was processed, contact us at cnn@tokencnn.com within 7 days of the charge. We will investigate and issue a full refund for the erroneous amount within 5-10 business days.

4. Service Downtime Refunds

If our service experiences extended downtime that prevents you from using purchased credits, and you have a documented SLA claim, we may issue a pro-rata credit. See our Terms of Service Section 6 (Service Availability & SLA) for details.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund:

• Email cnn@tokencnn.com from the email address registered with your account
• Include your account email, the transaction ID, and the reason for the refund
• We will respond within 3 business days
• Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days back to the original payment method

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider before contacting us, your account may be suspended immediately. We encourage you to contact us first — we will work with you to resolve any billing issue.
